Five Minute Cookies

They may not be health food, but these sweet treats are gluten-free.

Serves: 4 dozen cookies
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Credits: This recipe was given to us by my mother-in-law, Joyce Jacks.


Ingredients

  • ​1 1/2 CUPS sugar
  • 3 TBSP cocoa
  • 1/2 CUP butter
  • 1/2 CUP milk
  • 4 CUPS oatmeal
  • 2/3 CUP peanut butter
  • 1 CUP nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 TSP vanilla


Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Drop spoonfuls on waxed paper and let cool.
